It will be amazing to have all of you meet Lama Tenzin on 12/13 and for him to share his dharma vision, a vision that is near and dear to my heart! Many of you are deeply aligned in your own realization of “One Humanity, One Love” and this is a chance for a meetup to be inspired and to plant future seeds of love, wisdom and grace for future generations to come!

My knowing of Lama began in November 2015 when I attended an event entitled Compassion In Action that Dr. Sonnee Weedn  organized with Humanitarian Buddhist Monk Lama Tenzin Choegyal. There was no coincidence to our meeting as our relationship evolved I had the honor of attending the Dalai Lama’s Body Mind Life conference in Dharmsala in October 2016 as Dr. Weedn’s guest and spent ten days with my dharma brother, Lama Tenzin and dharma sister Sonne Weedn. It was humbling to visit the orphanage and to spend time with his children! We took the kids on a picnic to the Ganges and for me personally the trip was life changing in many ways. I communicate almost daily with many of the children.

On 12/13 Lama Tenzin Choegyal will share with all of you his spiritual path and adventure that started in 2000 when he traveled with his two brothers through the Upper Dolpo region of the Himalayan border between Nepal. During his journey he rescued abandoned and neglected children and founded an orphanage called the Children’s Education Development (CED)Society.

At the present time there are 28 kids and young adults that are being educated with 11students attending college this autumn! You can watch Walk the Waking Journey, an 80-minute documentary that is a four part series on YouTube that describes Lama Tenzin Choegyal’s journey with the children of the CED house. The children are being educated, loved, and raised to go back to their villages and/or be of service to the community and world at large. Lama is raising future humanitarians!

On 12/13 there will be an opportunity to let us know if you and a group of your friends want to take a trip to India and meet up with Lama Tenzin in the coming years! It is a chance to socialize with like minded individuals that are doing amazing things in the worlld and to help us raise money for the orphanage. We will have discussions on the importance of bridging different levels of awarness to OUR daily lives. Jennifer Shaffer, Jill Willard and I will be engaging in discussions on intuition and they will share group readings as time and interest allows.

It will be great to see you there!

In kindness,

Denise McDermott M.D.
