Kallisti Tours full-Day Private Santorini Sightseeing Tour Meet at cable car exit in Fira Town

Your private driver will meet you directly at your cruise ship port. Once you hop in your comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, the tour is officially underway.

Begin your sightseeing adventure in the north of the island, at the scenic village of Oia: one of Santorini’s most visually striking locations, the village has long inspired artists with its beauty, and sits overlooking the island’s caldera.

Next, head to the traditional, cliff-top village of Imerovigli before venturing to Firostefani, another nearby village that’s famous for its distinctive, blue-domed church.

Santorini is also home to its own ancient ruins: the site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan village that was buried by the island’s colossal volcanic eruption. Don’t miss the chance to see
the incredible, well-preserved remnants of the settlement for yourself. Afterwards, it’s on to the island’s appropriately named Red and Black Beaches. Both are named for their distinctively colored sand, and offer stunning views over the Aegean Sea.

Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history.

Note that bespoke itineraries and custom additions to the tour are also available. Your tour will conclude when your private driver drops you off at your cruise ship port.

8:30 am Guided Tour to Windsor Castle and Stonehenge Meet in hotel lobby

You will leave your hotel and head straight to Stonehenge, taking approx. 2 hours. Your guide will explain all the mysteries and conflicting stories of how this prehistoric monument was built and what it was used for. Timed entry tickets will take you straight on to the site which is composed of earthworks surrounding a circular setting of large standing stones. It is at

the centre of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds.

Your guide will then head back towards London through the English Countryside to Windsor Castle. Which is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen, whose standard flies from the Round Tower when she is in residence. You will also visit St George’s Chapel within the Castle Precincts, which is the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter, the oldest order of chivalry in the world. You will see tombs of ten sovereigns, including Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, and Charles I.

Among the highlights of any visit to Windsor is Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, the largest and most famous dolls’ house in the world. You will marvel at thousands of objects made by leading artists, designers and craftsmen, nearly all on the tiny scale of 1:12.
