Just wanted to share information about this educational meeting that could help co-victims with their cold cases. All are invited to this free event. I will be the last speaker at this event (see attached itinerary). To register, click on this link https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fohvamp-annual-meeting-2017-ti…

Each year Families of Homicide Victims and Missing Persons (FOHVAMP) conducts an annual meeting that allows co-victims to meet with their detectives, regarding their individual cases, in a neutral setting.

This annual meeting includes a luncheon and several panel discussions on cold case efforts in Colorado, and around the Nation.

This year’s key note speaker will be Frank Birgfeld, father of Paige Birgfeld, murdered in June of 2007. Frank will share with us the challenges and frustrations of his long time march toward justice, the revelations he received at the trial, and the successful conviction of his daughter’s murderer.

We will have additional panels to include Media, and Law Enforcement, as well as the Colorado Bureau of Investigations Officials, and the Crime Lab that worked on the Paige Birdfeld case. This year the public is invited.
After speeches and discussion panels there will be a POTLUCK luncheon. Feel free to bring any dish(es).

The objective of FOHVAMP is to advocate for cold case co-victims of homicide and missing persons and to seek resolution through effective communications. Our annual meetings assist in helping co-victims better understand our system of justice and how to more effectively work with those who are sworn to serve and protect.
